The Role
We’re searching for a roadside assistance agent to join our team and represent Assistenza as our front-line, receiving incoming and outbound call for roadside assistance department. The claims agents at our call center are responsible for listening, documenting and dispatching roadside assistance services to callers across North America.
The Tasks
Our roadside agents identify the caller’s account, and the reason for their call and type of services needed (towing, battery boost, tire change, general inquiry etc.). The roadside assistance agent creates the policy holders’ profile and gather the callers’ information. They must then contact the nearest service provider. Once the subject of the call and details have been collected, the caller must be advised of the next steps and estimated delays, the expected time of arrival for service. The roadside assistance agent will be expected to follow protocol for each account/contract, and follow up with the caller. Calls come from clients from across Canada and the United States.

The Ideal Candidate
- Must be able to work full-time (40h/week) for evening shifts as well as weekends. The candidates must be available to work evening shifts up to midnight, as well as during weekends Saturday and Sunday;
- Must be able to work in an in-person office environment (located downtown Montreal);
- Proficient in French and English (advanced level written and spoken);
- At least one year experience in a customer-service driven role;
- At least one year experience in a call-center environment;
- A positive and keen attitude to excel;
- Detail orientated candidate, a fast paced learner;
- Exceptional listening skills;
- Adaptability to new processes and systems. This is important, as we are handling high volumes of requests in an organized and timely manner;
